ThinkPHP #13 meetup with Anton Shevchuk

7 December 2016

Interesting presentations, a live chat with our speakers, and a lot of inspiration — these are the essential elements of ThinkPHP meetup program. The meeting was held in the Fabrika Space hub for the first time and drew a full conference hall of Kharkiv PHP developers. :)

The first speaker of the meeting was Taras Omelyanenko with his report “Large Web-applications development.” Taras spoke about the application development process from the point of DevOps, and some issues listed below:

  • Symfony2 framework,
  • environment scenario,
  • configure the environment,
  • deployment automation,
  • working with Git,
  • testing,
  • monitoring and scaling.

Coffee Break — this is an excellent opportunity to share views and experiences with like-minded people.

The inspirer of ThinkPHP-community Anton Shevchuk was the second speaker of the meeting. He gave an answer to a not-very-simple question — “Where senior goes?.” Anton spoke about the perspectives of seniors, and options for future development.

Typically Anton presents plush elephants to speakers of ThinkPHP, but as he was a speaker himself, he exchanged elephants with Taras. :)

All guests of ThinkPHP# 13 could immediately share their wishes and suggestions in a special application that chose random winners, who got the cup and steep power banks.

Share your ideas for future conference #14 on socials Vk, Facebook, and Twitter, or write a letter to the organizers of ThinkPHP! :)

See you next time!
