Middle/Senior Application Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Validate any VDI machines, client systems, any change control required, patching, 3rd party software integrations
  • Application technical support for framework and technology stack, application servers, databases, scripts and queries, middleware, JVM, and event Logging.
  • Updating documentation and on call processes in the future when we move into live production.
  • Incident and Event management
  • Emailing
  • Answering corporate phone
  • Performing web meetings
  • Creating public solutions
  • Working overtime/on holidays if necessary

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows 10 imaging, testing and deployment of images
  • Demonstrated experience with PC hardware and software support environments required
  • Networking, Desktop Engineering and Operating Systems Administration (Windows, Linux)
  • Any experience in VDI solutions: Citrix or/and any other VDI experience
  • Very high level of written and verbal English. (international practice would be a bonus)
  • Computer Science education or/and Advanced PC user
  • Full High education or last courses student (full working day load)
  • Psychological stability and high level of patience

Will be a bonus:

  • Technical Support experience
  • Cloud: MS Azure or/and any other cloud platform experience
  • Experience using monitoring tools (Solarwinds (Orion), AppDynamics, Azure Monitoring tools, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the main principles of software development
  • International exchange programs or experience working with international staff
  • Experience in troubleshooting other people’s problems related to PC and networks
  • Knowledge in System Administration and Networking
  • Experience with Oracle SQL
  • Experience in ticketing systems ServiceNow, Assyst
