Junior Tech Support Engineer

NIX Solutions is looking for a Junior Tech Support Engineer (1st Line) to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • assisting international customers;
  • sending emails;
  • investigating problems reported by a customer;
  • logging and tracking issues;
  • conducting online meetings;
  • creating and testing public solutions.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Upper Intermediate/Advanced level of written and spoken English;
  • Computer Science education and/or advanced PC user;
  • university graduate or senior-year student (full-time);
  • psychological stability and high level of patience;
  • able to do tasks overtime and/or on holidays if necessary.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Technical Support experience, particularly in PC and network troubleshooting;
  • QA experience;
  • understanding of software development life cycle;
  • experience in international exchange programs or working with international staff;
  • knowledge of System Administration and Networking;
  • knowledge of Oracle SQL.
