Cellawe is a photo sharing website and online community platform which is used by those who want to get their photos to the people who matter to them. Users can upload images, add names, descriptions, comment on other user’s photos, tag them, discuss photo- and non-photo-related topics in the groups that they create themselves. For newcomers comprehensive catalogue and search tool has been created which simplify system exploring and comes as a good source of inspiration and new experience. To bring the software closer to its audience, mobile copy of the application was created. Now people can upload and access their photos simply with their cell phone and even check their friends’ updates almost anytime and everywhere.

The system represents a Java chat server and a Flash chat client, with the system providing the capability of Flash chat for each user’s page on the site. There are three types of users in the system: guests, room moderators and an admin server. A guest can enter a room, send and receive messages, and change his nickname. A room moderator can perform all the same tasks a guest can, and also mark a user as ignored (messages of an ignored user don’t appear at chat) and kick a user from a room (the user’s IP is stored to the database and the user can’t come into the room). Admin can set the message of the day (each user receives this message on entering any room), send broadcast messages to all rooms and moderate each open room. All chat sessions are stored into the files. The system can check a request for a flash client, and if the referrer is not the customer’s site, the flash client isn’t sent to the user. This feature allows a user to open the chat client only from the customer’s site.

Results returned to the system from different search services are processed and converted to unified inner format and presented to users in iZito-specific structured format.
